 		Yamaha Sounds of Summer camps promote the enjoyment of music through percussion. Each camp offers world-class instruction by Yamaha artists, a highly structured musical experience and a comprehensive percussion curriculum. Students study from the Yamaha “Marching Percussion Essentials” instructional guide, written by professional percussionists specifically for the Sounds of Summer program. High school and middle school students of all levels-as well
as their band directors-are encouraged to attend. Sounds of Summer attendees return to their own bands in great shape, better prepared to learn and with a fantastic attitude for music.

What campers will receive?

When attending a Yamaha Sounds of Summer camp, each camper will have access to some of the finest percussion instructors in the country. But wait, there is more. Each camper also will receive a Sounds of Summer t-shirt, a Sounds of Summer Marching Essentials book, a Sounds of Summer lanyard and name badge and a Yamaha percussion rudiment poster.
