Features:

Ken has been teaching music since high school. Growing up in a small Christian school without a music program, he was able to benefit from private piano, voice, violin, and cello lessons from local community teachers. Even before graduating high school, he was performing in groups at the college level in piano, violin, and cello. Ken has a degree from Pensacola Christian College in Vocal Performance, and he studied under Raymond Gibbs, a Metropolitan Opera singer who studied most notably at the Manhattan School of Music. After graduating undergraduate, Ken wanted to further his strings education and was fortunate enough to study privately with the Suzuki Master teacher, Judy Bossuat-Gallic. With her, he gained invaluable knowledge of and practice with strings pedagogy and the Suzuki method. From 2008-2019, Ken resided in Stockton, CA, where he taught strings, piano, and voice at the Stockton Baptist Music Academy, was the music director at Stockton Baptist Church, and performed with the Stockton Chorale, Valley Community Orchestra, and Valley Celli. In 2019 Ken, along with his wife and three children, moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to his wife’s family. He is currently the music director at Anthony Baptist Church in Jersey Shore, PA as well as the director of the Faithful Servant Academy based out of Anthony Baptist.
