YAMAHA FGX5 Red Label FG Acoustic Guitar
Folk guitar features a semigloss finish and high-quality compnents to deliver a beautiful, vintage
aesthetic. Scalloped bracing and a custom-treated Sitka Spruce top paired with mahogany
back and sides for a genuine aged-wood tone, that is louder and more balanced.
- Solid Sitka spruce top offers a rich midrange and low frequency response. Sound is tight
and focused, particularly suiting chordal strumming or rhythmic fingerstyle performance.
- Mahogany back and sides have a slower transient response than other tonewoods, lending
to a warm and woody tone with strong midrange.
- Bone nut and saddle provide a more efficient transfer of energy from to the neck and body,
resulting in a louder and clearer sound.
- Exclusive Yamaha A. R. E. process which utilizes heat, humidity and atmosphere pressure
to accelerate aging of wood and gives the guitar a rich, vintage-quality tone.
- Atmosfeel pickup and preamp system with piezo sensor in bridge to capture low frequencies,
a microphone for low and midrange, as well as a synthetic sheet soundboard transducer for
high frequencies resulting in a full, natural sound with simple controls.
- Traditional western body style.
- Scale length 25", body length 19 7/8", total length 40 1/2". Body width 16 1/4", body
depth 3 15/16"
- African Mahogany neck. Ebony fingerboard, bridge and bridge pins.
