Taylor’s 114ce with its Grand Auditorium body shape is a true jack of all trades steel string. With the same width and depth as a dreadnought, but a slimmer waist it has a really sleek look with a pronounced high-end response. The solid Sitka spruce top, combined with layered walnut back and sides is a wood combination that offers a balanced tone with both warmth and sparkle. The comfortable playing maple neck with an ebony fingerboard has a slight narrower 1-11/16-inch nut width, which makes forming barre chords easier. Thanks to the venetian cutaway you will have a smooth access to the upper fretboard. It’s a guitar that’s popular with both strummers and fingerstyle player because of its overall characteristics.
The 114ce is ready to hit the stage alongside you with the ES-2 electronics installed. It has a behind the saddle pickup. The piezo-electric sensors respond in an organic way through the acoustic energy and produce a natural acoustic sound. Shipping to the contiguous United States only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally. Orders received by 12:00 pm EST Mon - Fri will be processed that day. Orders received after 12:00 pm EST will be processed the following business day. Most orders ship within 1 - 2 buesiness days.
