Isaiah Britton – Guitar (Acoustic & Electric) Beginner through Intermediate, Ages 5 & Up

Isaiah has been playing and learning guitar for 25 years from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. It was Nirvana and a friend's acoustic guitar that drew him to the instrument. Since, his journey has taken him from grunge, punk rock, 90s jam bands (a la Dave Mathews), to electric blues, classic rock - and most in between. Specializing in both acoustic and electric guitar, Isaiah is available to instruct beginner through intermediate players to reach their musical goals. Isaiah has been performing at venues in the region since 2011. If you'd like to learn to rock listener’s socks off, or just simply have fun, Isaiah is the instructor to help you reach your goals.

BIO:

Jeff has been teaching guitar at Robert M. Sides since 2002. He began playing guitar at age nine, after hearing some Beatles and Cream records that his aunt played for him. He started performing professionally at age
fifteen. He soon began studying music theory and composition with Ronald L. Hill, the band director at Dallastown Area High School in York County. He became involved with the music programs in high school, where he was a member of the marching band, concert band and the jazz band. He played in the pit orchestra for the production of the musical Guys and Dolls. Jeff began his teaching career at Stringed Instrument Repair in New Freedom, PA in 1986, and at Campbell’s Music Service in York, PA in 1987. He teaches all levels of rock, jazz, blues and country guitar. He encourages each student to pursue the genre of music that interests them, as well as introducing them to the styles of guitarists, who may reside outside the student’s current listening preferences. Jeff has performed throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, North Carolina and Washington, DC. The groups he has played with include: Kasper, The Harry Traynham Band and Alaska. He has opened for nationally known acts including The Guess Who and The Badlees. He has recorded with a diverse group of musical artists such as: Kasper (Just Another Nightmare, Pop Rock 1987), John McNabb (Peace of Mind Beach, Contemporary Christian, 1992) and Edgar (Conversations, Jazz Fusion, 1996). Recently, Jeff has been working with the progessive rock band AudioJoe, recording the guitars and synthesizers in his own 24-track studio.

Jeff started playing in 1972, performing in 1974 and began teaching in 1982. He has performed in rock, heavy metal, blues and country bands and is able to teach these styles. He teaches guitar, bass, mandolin, lap steel and beginner banjo and fiddle. His emphasis is theory and improvisation. BIO:

Mark R. Reinhart has been actively involved in music and the arts for over fifty-five years. Mark’s performance career, spanning over four decades has covered as many musical styles as it has geography. For the past thirty years, Reinhart has been playing both guitar and keyboards with the 1960’s band Jay Black and the Americans - This Magic Moment, Cara Mia. Reinhart is a published author whose book, Tune Up… You’re on in Ten Minutes (2004), discusses the various aspects of art education from both the teacher and student perspectives, and the benefits and importance of artistic cultivation. Mark has also been a practitioner of the Chinese health and martial
arts for over forty years. He is the owner and operator of Three Pure Rivers Studio For the Arts located in Drums, PA.

Rod Chubb

BIO:

Rod has been teaching guitar since 1987. His guitar lessons are designed to not only be fun, but to help the student master the necessary skills they need to reach their individual musical goals. Instruction is available on: guitar, bass, music theory, composition, ear training, sight reading, improvisation and general musicianship. All ages, styles and levels are welcome.
Originally from the Vestal, NY area, Rod studied privately for many years with local guitar great Jim Wilding. Upon relocation to the Williamsport area, Rod began teaching guitar and bass as well as playing in many local bands of all styles. From jazz and blues to rock, pop and country.
Rod relocated to the Nashville, TN area in 1993 where he taught, played with local groups and did studio work. In 2000, Rod moved back to the Williamsport area where he continues to teach, play in local bands, and write and record his own original music.
