Our Sales Staff
Meet our sales staff at all four of our locations!
Store Manager/Educational Representative
I spend most of my time on the road servicing school districts in North Eastern PA and the Southern Tier of New York. I consult music educators on future purchases of new equipment and service plans for the instrument inventory. I will take orders for supplies and send out instruments for repair. When I'm not on the road, I am managing the Wilkes-Barre store. I am responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, from making sure the store is presentable at all times to customer service. I am also responsible for the hiring of new employees and making sure they are trained to work the front counter and service our customers.
My hobby is also a part time job. I play on the weekends with AM Radio. We are a 9 piece cover band. If I'm not playing with AM Radio, I am usually playing with one of several groups in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. I also play at several churches in the area for holiday events, special services, and weddings.
I don't have a favorite band, since there are too many great bands that have influenced me. You can usually find me listening to Chicago, Blood Sweat & Tears, Earth Wind & Fire, and Tower of Power.
Primarily I sell combo gear and educate customers on the products they are buying. I also handle setting up guitars and doing some repairs, as well as making sure they're all cleaned up and in tune. Some other responsibilities include ordering, stocking, and whatever else customers need from me.
My hobbies include finding vintage gear, finding Big Foot, and playing guitar and bass. I love Jazz, Blues, Country, and Rock, especially Joe Bonamassa, Lincoln Breswster, and the Allman Brothers. And of course I love playing with my band, The Blind Chitlin Kahunas.
Lessons Coordinator, Music Instructor
Here at the New York store, I take care of making sure our lesson department keeps running smoothly. I also work the counter by answering phones, guiding customers through our rental program, and providing information to customers for the piano and combo department. In addition to that, I also teach piano and voice.
Aside from what I do at the store, I also love the cello and have recently started to play!
I am the liaison between our store and the schools and music teachers at schools that we service. Repairs are picked up and delivered back to the schools, supplies and music orders are also delivered. My other hats include repair guy, new product demonstration, intermediary of ideas and counselor.
I play the organ at Clark's Grove UMC in Irish Valley, tuba in the Columbia BrassWorks brass quintet, bass guitar in the Vic Boris Trio, sing in the Choraliers choir and, and direct the choir at Clark's Grove UMC. I enjoy early classic jazz/rock, concert band music and the standards.
